Ballarat Rockabilly Portraiture

Over the weekend a little bit of Rockabilly made its way to Ballarat where it took over the city streets for the Ballarat Beat Rockabilly Festival. To help celebrate and embrace all things Rockabilly, Karina dropped by the Infocus Photography and Video Studio for a fabulously fun photo shoot. Rockabilly was one of the earliest styles of Rock and Roll Music dating back to the early 1950s in the South of the United States. With it came a movement and style that generated not only music, but fashion, cars, dancing and vibe.

The costume Karina is wearing was made by Inspired Insanity, from Mornington, Victoria, Australia. Their designs cover Rockabilly, Roller Derby, Vintage Styles and many more...
